Qingtao Energy (清陶能源发展)

Qingtao (Kunshan) Energy Development Group Co., Ltd. (清陶能源) is a Chinese solid-state lithium-ion battery manufacturer founded in 2016 by a team led by Tsinghua University professor and Chinese Academy of Sciences academician Nan Cewen. Headquartered in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, the company built China's first solid-state lithium battery production line and is recognized as a global leader in the industrialization of solid-state batteries. Its vertically integrated operations span battery cells, specialty solid-state materials, and innovative manufacturing equipment. The company has partnered with SAIC Motor to co-develop next-generation solid-state batteries for electric vehicles and filed for a Hong Kong IPO in 2026.
