Pyrone Systems is a biotech company developing the next generation of natural, non-toxic biopesticides using scalable, biology-based methodologies. The company has pioneered a novel bio-molecular platform based on TAL (triacetic acid lactone), a compound derived from biosynthesis that can replace harmful primary petrochemicals like benzene, toluene, and xylenes. Their first product is a bio-insecticide that replicates the key molecule found in patchouli plants — proven effective against pesticide-resistant insects while being safe for beneficial insects and the environment.
