Protect AI was a cybersecurity company providing the broadest and most comprehensive platform for securing AI and machine learning systems. Its suite of products — Guardian (AI model security), Recon (automated red teaming for AI), and Layer (runtime security) — operated on a single unified platform to secure AI applications from model selection and testing through deployment and runtime monitoring. Protect AI also maintained open-source projects including ModelScan and LLM Guard, and operated Huntr, the world's first bug bounty platform focused on AI/ML vulnerabilities. The company was acquired by Palo Alto Networks in July 2025.
