Prior Labs builds tabular foundation models, led by its flagship TabPFN, that make state-of-the-art predictions directly on structured data without the manual feature engineering conventional machine learning requires. Enterprise teams in risk, fraud, and compliance -- including partners like Taktile -- use TabPFN via API or open-source packages to build predictive models faster than traditional AutoML. Founded out of the University of Freiburg by TabPFN co-author Frank Hutter and team, Prior Labs was acquired by SAP in 2026 to help establish a frontier AI research lab in Europe.
