Primo1D develops E-Thread, a patented RFID technology that embeds durable, invisible RFID tags directly into yarns and textiles for traceability, authentication, and circular-economy use cases such as rental, resale, repair, and recycling. Its tags withstand up to 200 industrial washing cycles and temperatures up to 200°C and are used by brands including Decathlon and SNCF/Cepovett to track garments and uniforms across their lifecycle. Primo1D grew out of research from CEA-Leti and is based in Grenoble, France.
