Podbbang is South Korea's leading podcast hosting and content publishing platform, founded in March 2012 by Tag Story in Seoul. Originally launched as an on-demand audio platform featuring TED lectures and radio segments, it evolved into a full podcast hosting and discovery platform spanning politics, education, business, economics, true crime, and audiobooks. By 2016 Podbbang had become the dominant player in the Korean podcast market and the parent company renamed itself Podbbang, operating over 26,000 podcast channels and producing original content with a core audience aged 30–40.
