Planet A Ventures is a Hamburg-based venture capital fund that invests in European green tech startups at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages. The fund is distinguished by having an in-house science team that calculates life cycle assessments to quantify each startup's environmental impact — with scientists holding veto power over investments lacking significant positive impact. Planet A invests €0.5M to €5M initial tickets in startups across EU taxonomy sectors including agriculture, energy, manufacturing, transport, and waste management.
