Founded in 2004 in New York City by David Perla and Sanjay Kamlani, Pangea3 grew to over 1,000 attorneys and professionals operating across seven offices in the United States and India. The company raised $4M in Series B funding in 2006 and $7M in Series C from Sequoia Capital India in 2007. Pangea3 was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2010 for approximately $100 million, and subsequently acquired by Ernst & Young in June 2019. The pangea3.com domain now redirects to EY's legal operations page.
