In 2024, OurPass acquired a Microfinance banking license from Nigerian regulators, repositioning itself as a business banking platform enabling users to send, spend, and grow. However, by mid-2025 the company faced serious difficulties including regulatory issues, arrested staff, unpaid workers, and stranded customers, signaling a collapse of the business.
