Nyobolt

Nyobolt is a Cambridge-based battery technology company built on over a decade of research by University of Cambridge scientist Professor Dame Clare Grey. Founded in 2019 by Prof. Grey and CEO Dr. Sai Shivareddy, Nyobolt has pioneered ultra-fast charging lithium-ion batteries using niobium tungsten oxide anode materials that allow a greater volume of lithium ions to enter and exit the anode at high speed. The company takes a systems-level approach, integrating proprietary materials science with battery cell engineering, power electronics, and system-level controls to deliver fully integrated high-power energy solutions. Nyobolt targets mission-critical applications including AI data centers, autonomous robotics and humanoid robots, commercial EVs, and industrial fleets where high-power output and maximum uptime are essential.
