NUVIEW is an Orlando, Florida-based space technology company building the world's first commercial satellite constellation designed to map the planet's entire land surface annually using LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging). Unlike traditional 2D Earth observation satellites, NUVIEW's sensors capture high-resolution 3D point clouds, digital surface models, and digital terrain models that enable applications spanning forestry and carbon monitoring, infrastructure planning, flood risk management, telecommunications, and national mapping initiatives. The company was founded in 2021 and has attracted backing from investors including actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and has secured DoD support for its defense applications.
