About
NovaDigm Therapeutics develops vaccines and immunotherapeutics to protect patients from fungal and bacterial infections that can be recurrent, drug-resistant, and life-threatening. Founding scientists from the Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center created lead candidate NDV-3/NDV-3A, a recombinant Als3-protein vaccine that showed preclinical cross-kingdom protection against Candida and Staphylococcus aureus, including MRSA. Phase 1 studies in healthy adults found the vaccine safe, well-tolerated, and immunogenic, supporting later trials in recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis.
