NorthSea Therapeutics is a Dutch biotech company developing structurally engineered fatty acids for metabolic, inflammatory, and fibrotic diseases. Its lead programs include orziloben, an oral fully synthetic medium-chain fatty acid analog for intestinal failure-associated liver disease, and SEFA-1024, an oral gut/liver-targeted eicosapentaenoic acid derivative for severe hypertriglyceridemia. The company is also developing icosabutate, an oral once-daily dual FFAR1/FFAR4 agonist for MASH that has completed a Phase 2b study showing histologic improvement in diabetic MASH patients.
