Nimbula was a cloud infrastructure software company founded in 2008 by Chris Pinkham and Willem Van Biljon, creators of Amazon EC2. Based in Mountain View, California, it developed the Nimbula Director platform enabling enterprises and service providers to build and manage private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Acquired by Oracle in March 2013.
