MYCL (Mycotech Lab) is an Indonesian bio-material company that bridges biology and industrial design by transforming agricultural waste into high-performance, carbon-sequestering materials using mushroom mycelium. Their flagship product Mylea is a premium bio-leather alternative grown in a controlled environment, offering the texture and durability of animal leather while remaining cruelty-free and compostable. They also produce Mylea Sea (a marine-element mycelium variant for luxury accessories) and MYCL Composite (a structural material for sustainable architecture and interior design). MYCL was a 2024 Earthshot Prize finalist.
