Mitate Zepto Technica, Inc. (MZT) is a Japanese deep-tech semiconductor venture company founded in 2020, headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. The company develops genome computing hardware—specifically ASIC-based accelerators—designed to dramatically speed up genome analysis workflows that are currently bottlenecked by conventional compute architectures. MZT's flagship product, the RASEN Accelerator, achieved a prototype milestone in January 2025 with BWA-comparable accuracy for genomic alignment tasks.
