Your mirror, your workout
Mirror was a New York-based connected fitness company that built a nearly invisible smart mirror device for the home. The mirror displayed live and on-demand workout classes — spanning strength, cardio, yoga, barre, and boxing — led by world-class trainers, while simultaneously reflecting the user's own image for form feedback. Founded in 2016 by former NYC Ballet dancer Brynn Putnam, Mirror raised approximately $75M before being acquired by Lululemon for $500 million in June 2020 at the height of the at-home fitness boom. Despite $170M in revenue in 2020, Lululemon wrote off $443M in 2022 and discontinued Mirror hardware sales in 2023, folding the content into lululemon Studio.
