Mint Town

Mint Town is a Tokyo-based Web3 game and platform development company established in May 2023 as a corporate spin-off from gumi, the Japanese mobile gaming company. Founded by Hironao Kunimitsu, the founder of gumi, Mint Town develops and publishes blockchain-based games and operates a Web3 gaming platform that fuses entertainment with decentralized economies. The company aims to create a new economic sphere through the integration of Web3 technology and entertainment. Mint Town has raised multiple rounds of funding, including a 1 billion yen first close in 2023, a 700 million yen round led by X&KSK (co-founded by soccer legend Keisuke Honda) in March 2025, and a $5 million round in April 2025.
