Mellow

Mellow is a Hong Kong personal-finance app that helps parents teach children aged six to 18 how to set goals, save, earn, and spend in a practical, educational way. Co-founded by Teresa Chan and Chester Szeen as Mellow App Ltd, it lets kids record real income and expenses such as pocket money and transport fares, plan savings targets, and see how much they need to set aside each week. Parents can assign tasks that earn rewards and, with a connected MasterCard debit card, top up funds while retaining the ability to freeze the card if they see anything suspicious. Mellow does not hold user money itself; licensed partners handle payments.
