Manta

Manta Network is a modular blockchain ecosystem built for zero-knowledge (ZK) applications, offering the largest modular L2 with the highest throughput and lowest fees. Founded in 2020 by Victor Ji, Shumo Chu, and Kenny Li — researchers from Harvard, MIT, and Algorand — the project includes two main networks: Manta Pacific (an Ethereum L2 using Polygon's CDK for ZK application deployment) and Manta Atlantic (a Polkadot parachain providing privacy infrastructure). The network supports over 200 decentralized applications and operates with a native MANTA token. Manta Labs, headquartered in Santa Cruz, California, drives core development.
