Lunos AI is a New York-based fintech startup that deploys AI agents to automate business-to-business accounts receivable operations, replacing the manual, email-driven workflows that still govern roughly $100 trillion in annual B2B trade. Its AI workers integrate directly with accounting systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite, analyze every customer interaction to determine the optimal communication strategy, and conduct two-way conversations with customers about outstanding balances and invoices — all without human intervention. Founded in 2024 by Duncan Barrigan, former Chief Product Officer of GoCardless, Lunos raised a $5 million pre-seed round led by General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures, and is building toward a future of agent-to-agent B2B commerce in which AI systems negotiate and settle payments on behalf of businesses.
