Loop Commerce

Loop Commerce, now operating as GiftNow (a Synchrony solution), was a Mountain View, California-based digital gifting technology company that created the Gift Experience Management (GXM) category. Founded in 2013, Loop Commerce developed GiftNow, a platform enabling retailers to make any product on their e-commerce site instantly giftable. The innovation allowed gift givers to purchase and send gifts digitally via email or text before physical shipment, while recipients could change size, color, or other attributes before the item ships. Loop Commerce powered the digital gifting strategy for world-class brands including Coach, Uniqlo, and Kate Spade, and aimed to unlock the estimated $600 billion gift-commerce market. The company raised over $16M across four funding rounds before being acquired by Synchrony Financial in 2018.
