Lola

Lola.com was a SaaS company founded in 2015 by former Kayak.com executives Paul English and Bill O'Donnell. The company built corporate travel management and expense software for web, iOS, and Android, enabling businesses to book, manage, and report on employee travel. Lola combined self-service booking with human travel agent support, and included analytics on travel spend and policy compliance. The company raised over $80 million from investors including General Catalyst, Accel, Charles River Ventures, and GV. After pivoting to fintech in February 2021 due to COVID-19's impact on travel, Lola ceased operations in September 2021 and was subsequently acquired by Capital One.
