Learning Loop

Learning Loop (operating as 'Integral') was a Singapore and San Francisco-based startup founded in 2021 that built an AI-native communication and knowledge-preservation platform for private, high-value communities. The platform addressed a specific problem: valuable knowledge shared in community messaging tools like Slack and Discord quickly becomes unsearchable and effectively lost. Integral used retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), custom vector embeddings, and knowledge-graph structures to index community conversations as durable, discoverable artifacts that members could query later. The target audience was private expert communities — founders groups, professional networks, and curated membership communities — where the signal-to-noise ratio and knowledge density were high enough to justify a dedicated preservation layer. The company raised $630,000 in pre-seed funding from one venture capital firm and approximately 40 angel investors, and achieved notable Product Hunt recognition (#1 Product of the Day in November 2024 and #2 in June 2025). However, Learning Loop shut down in September 2025 after exhausting its runway before reaching the product-market fit metrics required to raise a follow-on round.
