Launchkey

LaunchKey was a cybersecurity company founded in 2012 by Geoff Sanders, Yo Sub Kwon, and Devin Egan, recognized in Inc. Magazine's 2013 '30 Under 30' list. The company operated a decentralized mobile-based multifactor authentication (MFA) platform enabling businesses to replace or enhance password security via a SaaS REST API. Its dynamic authentication suite let users approve access via slide gestures, fingerprint scans, PIN codes, circle codes, Bluetooth proximity, and geofencing across websites, mobile apps, kiosks, vehicles, and physical access control systems. LaunchKey raised $4.62M across three rounds from investors including Crosslink Capital, Pantera Capital, and Eniac Ventures, before being acquired by iovation in September 2016; the technology later became part of TransUnion's product portfolio.
