Lagou (拉勾) is a prominent Chinese recruitment platform founded in 2013, specializing in tech and STEM talent acquisition. Founded by Xu Dandan in Beijing with a 'one inch wide, one kilometer deep' focus on Internet and technology talent, the platform grew to over 25 million users and 1.2 million registered companies. Lagou serves major Chinese tech giants including Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, and ByteDance. In 2017, HR company 51job acquired a controlling stake. The platform features specialized job boards, personalized AI-driven recommendations, company profiles, and hosts offline career events across China.
