Kerno

Kerno is a local CI platform built for AI-assisted software development, designed to validate code changes against real backend infrastructure before they reach production. The platform indexes a codebase using deterministic SCIP-based dependency graphs, spins up real databases, queues, and caches locally via Docker, then automatically generates and maintains integration tests for every HTTP endpoint — covering functional workflows, contract validation, error handling, authentication, and edge cases. Kerno integrates with AI coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Codex CLI via the Model Context Protocol, giving agents an in-session feedback loop to catch and fix breaking changes before they pile up in PRs. Founded in 2022 and based in Dublin, Ireland, Kerno is backed by Elkstone and MMC Ventures.
