Keebler

Keebler is one of America's most iconic cookie and snack brands, originally founded in 1852 as a small bakery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Keebler Company grew over more than a century to become the second-largest cookie and cracker manufacturer in the United States, known for its whimsical Keebler Elves marketing mascots and a broad portfolio of beloved products including Chips Deluxe, Fudge Stripes, Sandies Shortbread, and Vienna Fingers. After passing through several ownership structures — including a 2001 acquisition by Kellogg Company for $3.86 billion — the Keebler cookie business was sold to Ferrero SpA in 2019 for approximately $1.3 billion. Today, Keebler cookies are manufactured and marketed by Ferrara Candy Company, a Ferrero subsidiary, which has continued investing in marketing and reformulating products to use real ingredients. The brand operates primarily in the United States through retail grocery channels and foodservice.
