Kateeva

Kateeva was co-founded in 2008 by Conor Madigan PhD, Valerie Gassend PhD, and Gerry Chen PhD, based on OLED inkjet deposition technology originally developed at MIT. Headquartered in Newark, California, Kateeva makes precision inkjet deposition equipment for OLED display manufacturers. Its flagship YIELDjet platform is the world's first inkjet printer engineered specifically for OLED mass production. The YIELDjet FLEX system became the leading inkjet deposition platform for the organic thin film encapsulation (TFE) layer of mobile OLED displays. Kateeva also developed YIELDjet EXPLORE and EXPLORE PRO tools for RGB pixel deposition R&D programs. The company established operations in China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, serving major display manufacturers globally. Kateeva has raised significant venture funding and has been evaluated as an IPO candidate.
