iWatt was a fabless semiconductor company specializing in digital power management integrated circuits (ICs) for AC/DC power conversion and LED solid-state lighting applications. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Campbell, California, the company developed innovative digital control technology that improved efficiency and reduced component count in power supplies for consumer electronics, computing, and lighting markets. iWatt had filed for an IPO before being acquired by Dialog Semiconductor in July 2013 for approximately $310 million, marking a significant exit in the power management IC sector.
