Intucell

Intucell was an Israeli software company founded in 2008 and headquartered in Ra'anana, Israel, that developed self-optimizing network (SON) software for LTE mobile carriers. Its technology enabled mobile network operators to automatically plan, configure, manage, optimize, and heal cellular networks in real time, dynamically adjusting the cellular grid to maximize data throughput and minimize dropped calls without manual intervention. The company raised venture funding from Bessemer Venture Partners, which held nearly half the company at exit. Cisco announced its acquisition of Intucell in January 2013 for approximately $475 million in cash, completing the deal in February 2013. Intucell was integrated into Cisco's Service Provider Mobility Group and later sold to HCL.
