Inpher pioneered Secret Computing®, a cryptographic technology suite (including its Manticore protocol) that let organizations run analytics and machine learning on encrypted or distributed data without ever exposing the underlying records. Enterprise customers such as asset managers and financial institutions used the platform for secure, privacy-preserving collaboration on sensitive data across teams, partners, and jurisdictions. Founded in 2015 and based in New York, Inpher's technology and core team were acquired by another company in late 2024, ending its run as an independent privacy-computation vendor; its old domain now redirects to unrelated content.
