Innospace is a South Korean aerospace startup founded in 2017 and headquartered in Sejong City that develops hybrid rocket-powered small satellite launch vehicles. The company's flagship HANBIT vehicle family uses hybrid propulsion technology combining paraffin fuel and liquid oxygen, offering flexible and cost-effective orbital delivery services for small satellites ranging from 90 kg to 1,300 kg payloads into sun-synchronous orbit. Innospace made history in March 2023 as the first South Korean private company to successfully launch a space vehicle, with its HANBIT-TLV test rocket launched from the Alcantara Space Center in Brazil. The company has offices in South Korea, Brazil, and France and is commercially contracted to deliver satellites for international customers.
