About
InkHunter is an augmented reality mobile app that allows users to virtually try on any tattoo design before committing to ink. Using computer vision and AR technology, the app projects tattoo designs onto any part of the user's body in real-time via their phone's camera. Originally developed during a 48-hour hackathon in Ukraine in 2014, InkHunter grew to over 9 million downloads and became popular in 40 countries. The app features a curated selection of designs from tattoo artists and has expanded to include AI-powered tattoo design generation. Backed by Y Combinator, InkHunter is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
