iCracked

iCracked is an on-demand smartphone and tablet repair marketplace founded in 2010 by AJ Forsythe and Anthony Martin, originating from Cal Poly and initially based in San Francisco before establishing headquarters in Redwood City, California. The company built a network of thousands of independent repair technicians ("iTechs") who travel to customers to fix cracked screens, broken buttons, and other damage on iPhones, iPads, and Samsung Galaxy devices — typically completing repairs in 30 to 45 minutes on-site. Backed by Y Combinator, iCracked grew to over million in annual revenue by 2014 and expanded its repair network to more than 5,000 technicians operating across multiple countries. The company differentiated itself by offering convenience-first, on-demand repair as an alternative to manufacturer service centers.
