i-SENS, Inc. is a South Korean medical device company founded in 2000, headquartered in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The company researches, develops, and manufactures advanced biosensor-based diagnostic devices distributed worldwide using proprietary electrochemical technology. Its product range includes blood glucose monitoring systems (BGMS), continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS) such as the CareSens Air, glycated hemoglobin meters, blood electrolyte and gas analyzers, immunoassay protein analyzers (IVD systems), and veterinary diagnostics. i-SENS holds the No. 1 market share in Korea for blood glucose monitoring and has a global manufacturing capacity exceeding 1 billion strips per year with presence in more than 100 countries. The company has subsidiaries including i-SENS (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. in China and i-SENS USA, Inc., and has been publicly listed on the Korean stock market. In 2023, i-SENS received a bronze medal from EcoVadis for its ESG supply chain practices.
