Horizon

Horizon is a Canadian blockchain infrastructure company that builds developer tools and smart wallet infrastructure under the Sequence brand. Founded in Toronto in 2017 when the team set out to build Skyweaver, a web3 video game, Horizon created its own developer tools to enable seamless user experiences when none existed. Those tools evolved into Sequence — an all-in-one developer platform offering smart wallets, 1-click cross-chain payments, and real-time multi-chain data indexing. Sequence powers hundreds of games and apps, thousands of developers, millions of users and players, and billions of dollars in volume. Its smart wallet infrastructure supports ecosystems, gaming studios, DeFi platforms, and stablecoin applications across all major EVM-compatible blockchains. In 2025, Polygon Labs announced an acquisition of Sequence to power its Open Money Stack.
