Hadeed (Saudi Iron and Steel Company) is the largest iron and steel producer in the Gulf Cooperation Council region, established in 1979 as a SABIC affiliate. It manufactures long products (rebar, wire rod) and flat products (hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized steel), with total finished-product capacity of roughly 7 million tons per year. In 2024 PIF acquired a majority stake in Hadeed, which also acquired AlRajhi Steel Industries.
