HackMD

HackMD is a real-time collaborative Markdown workspace where teams write, share, and collaborate on notes, documentation, presentations, and community content. Users write in Markdown and HackMD renders source code, slides, charts, and math expressions. Flexible permissions let users control who can view or edit notes. Since launch, more than 7.7 million notes have been created and more than 30,000 teams have collaborated in HackMD across 170 countries. The platform powers communities ranging from the Ethereum Foundation to Kubernetes, Ruby-lang, and Matplotlib, and offers GitHub sync, API access, and enterprise security features.
