H2Site

H2SITE is a hydrogen technology company that develops integrated membrane reactors and separators for converting feedstocks like ammonia, methanol, and synthetic gas into pure hydrogen on-site. The company emerged as a spin-off from TECNALIA and Eindhoven University of Technology, combining over a decade of collaborative expertise in membrane science and process intensification. Since its 2020 launch with Series Seed funding from ENGIE New Ventures, H2SITE has scaled production at its Bilbao facility and secured further backing from Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Equinor Ventures to advance hydrogen production and separation for industrial and maritime decarbonization.
