GS Caltex

GS Caltex Corporation is South Korea's first privately established oil refining company, operating one of the world's largest single-site refineries in Yeosu with a daily capacity of 800,000 barrels. The company produces and exports petroleum products, aromatics, olefins, polymers, base oil, and lubricants to over 63 countries, with approximately 70% of total sales exported overseas. GS Caltex is actively diversifying into lower-carbon energy through initiatives in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hydrogen, CCUS, biofuels, and plastic recycling, while also advancing digital transformation via its internal AI platform and employee-led innovation programs. The company operates more than 1,990 gas stations and 310 filling stations across South Korea and maintains headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
