Grubwithus was a Y Combinator-backed (W11) social dining startup that organized communal meals at restaurants, allowing strangers to meet over food. Users purchased tickets to pre-arranged meals and were seated with other diners. Founded in July 2010 by Eddy Lu and Daishin Sugano and headquartered in Venice, California, the company operated from 2010 to 2013 across nearly 50 cities before shutting down.
