Griffin Refineries

Griffin Refineries Oy is a Finnish circular economy company with the objective of producing value from waste through innovative waste management solutions. By treating and composting organic waste, recycling plastic, and transforming waste into more environmentally friendly fuel, the company helps other businesses benefit financially while acting responsibly. Griffin has partnered with the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) to study the status of plastics recycling in Finland under the Muoviavain project, and has been financed by Nefco, the Nordic green finance institution, to expand its waste management operations. The company has also been named in a BESIX-Griffin Refineries joint venture arrangement for plastic recycling in the United Arab Emirates.
