Greentown Labs

Greentown Labs is the largest climatetech startup incubator in North America, providing physical lab space, prototyping facilities, and community resources to early-stage clean energy and climate companies. Founded in 2011 by a group of MIT-affiliated entrepreneurs in a warehouse in East Cambridge, Massachusetts, Greentown has since supported more than 675 startups — including more than 250 currently active members — with a survival rate well above the industry average. The organization operates flagship locations in Somerville, Massachusetts and Houston, Texas, and convenes startups, corporations, investors, and policymakers to accelerate the commercialization of climate technologies across agriculture, buildings, electricity, transportation, and manufacturing sectors. Greentown Labs is a nonprofit.
