GREE Holdings, Inc. (formerly GREE, Inc.) is a publicly listed Japanese internet and entertainment conglomerate founded on December 7, 2004 by Yoshikazu Tanaka, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo. The company launched the world's first mobile social game, Fishing Star, in 2007, and grew GREE into a global social networking service supporting 14 languages across 169 countries and regions.
