Grapefruit Health is a tech-enabled care gap closure company serving health systems, payers, and provider groups across the United States. It mobilizes trained clinical students — matched to patients by background and language — to handle high-volume, lower-acuity outreach including screenings, follow-ups, and care coordination. The platform manages end-to-end operations: student recruitment and training, patient matching, outreach scheduling, and secure documentation within a HITRUST/SOC2 Type 2 certified environment. Clients include Advocate Health, Atrium Health, Humana, Optum, Rush University Medical Center, and the VA. Founded in 2022 in Chicago, Grapefruit Health has raised a $1.3M pre-seed round.
