Gobano Robotics (formerly Cyberus AI) is a French deep-tech startup that develops AI-powered robotic systems for highly dexterous industrial and logistics tasks that have historically been too complex to automate. The company combines advanced AI techniques — imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and world models — with established robotics hardware to enable robotic arms to manipulate soft materials, fold textiles, perform bin picking, screw, assemble, and handle flexible objects with human-like precision. Each deployment is customized with AI models trained to meet specific industrial requirements for speed, accuracy, and reliability, and robots continuously refine their skills through real-world interaction. Founded in 2024 by Ziad Khoury and Roch Molléro in Nantes, France, the company raised a €3 million pre-seed round in September 2025 from Axeleo Capital, Bpifrance Digital Venture, Polytechnique Ventures, Motier Ventures, and Plug and Play Tech Center.
