Glow Up Games was a New York-based mobile and XR game studio co-founded in 2019 by CEO Mitu Khandaker and CXO Latoya Peterson. The studio was built on the belief in the narrative power of voices outside the mainstream, combining the founders' passion for game design with deep expertise to create games centering diverse audiences and stories about Black and brown joy. Notable titles include Insecure: The Come Up Game. Glow Up Games was backed by investors and participated in Google Play's Generation Play program. After five years of operation, the studio shut down in December 2024 citing ongoing industry challenges.
