GCL Perovskite (Kunshan GCL Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd.) is focused on the research, development and mass production of large-size perovskite solar modules, both single-junction and tandem with silicon cells. Its 2m2 perovskite module achieved a conversion efficiency of 19.04% and obtained IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 safety and reliability certification through TUV Rheinland, while its 1.71m2 crystalline silicon/perovskite tandem module reached 26.36% conversion efficiency. From Q4 2025, the company's first 500MW of GW-scale production capacity began manufacturing utility-sized, large-format (1.15x2.24m) silicon/perovskite tandem modules with an initial efficiency target of 27% and above.
