GameWisp was a subscription and monetization platform for gaming video content creators and streamers, founded in 2012. It enabled game streamers on Twitch and YouTube to offer monthly fan subscriptions and recurring revenue. After over 6 years of operation, GameWisp shut down in January 2019, and its technology was subsequently acquired by Lightstream, a live streaming innovator, in April 2019.
